Renovation/Addition

Building 1083 was expanded by adding ten additional vehicle repair bays totaling approximately 6,800 SF to the west end of the existing structure. The exterior components of the new expansion match the materials, colors, and shape of the existing building.

The existing tire equipment, associated equipment, and required utilities were relocated from existing bays to the new addition. Two bays were remodeled to expand the retail sales area.

The new vehicle work area expansion was provided with heating and evaporative cooling. Overhead air and water lines with valves were installed to serve pneumatic systems. Water hose reels were provided for all new maintenance bays. The existing vehicle exhaust fan and gas-fired unit heater were relocated. Vehicle exhaust systems with carbon monoxide detectors were installed at each new bay. New floor trench drains installed at each new bay connect to the existing building floor trench drain system that terminates at the existing oil/water separator.
